Heading West

Since we left Yuma we've been heading west back towards Texas.
On the road from Tucson tomorrow to Deming New Mexico and Aunt Rite only about 850 + miles.

Apache Trail Video

This part of the is trail down Fish Creek Hill where the road goes down 1500 feet in under 3/4 of a mile on a single track dirt road.  You hope nobody is coming the opposite way!!!!!!!!! Really glad we had the brakes fixed.

Fancy coming down this road in a stage coach?????

This is part of Apache Lake.

Phoenix to Globe - Arizona

Nov 21st

More cactus!!!! We are in Arizona .....
Sonora Desert covers 120,00 square miles, we haven't driven all of it or put up all the cacti pics....

Went over the Apache Trail which includes 22 miles of unmade road, originally a stagecoach trail - I would not want to go over those mountains in a stagecoach!!! Videos to follow...

The 'no pavement' sign = unmade road... Which has also been 'shot'!!

The 'curves, mountain grades for 37 miles' = white knuckle ride....

More huge stunning scenery and huge cacti, again have to put us in for scale....

Passed 'Lost Dutchman' State park.. was that the lost Dutchman???

Couple more fire hydrants for you Trish..

Is this the lost Dutch Man?????
