More Garden of the Gods & Red Rock Canyon

Wasn't going to post any more pics of Garden of the Gods but... We love the place, there are so many walks to do and the views are amazing, it's a magical place. Only trouble you don't realize how far you end up walking ... ohh my feet ache!!!

Spot the 'kissing camels'

Everywhere there are signs NOT to climb unless you have climbing gear, we spotted a man scrambling down a really high rock...... Who nearly fell several times!!!!

Also saw a squirrel eating a nut - I thought it was great, even took a video but won't bore you with that!!!

A mule deer was shy so I only got his face...

What Next???

We have been staying in Colorado Springs for a few of days and plan to move on Saturday morning. The next part of the trip is over 4-5 days depending on the drive through the Rocky Mountains. This is the proposed Route.

Still in Colorado Springs, up in the mountains for a drive on unmade roads with no safety barriers... Drove through the mountain too.

Found a lovely waterfall - but you had to be in good health to go for a walk!!!!!!

Went back to garden of the gods to watch sunset and go for a walk, shame the sun stayed behind the clouds!!!
