Maine in the RAIN.......

Colours were beautiful but landscape pics were rubbish!!

Managed a few close ups of trees...

and leaves...

So decided to 'hole up' for a couple of days in a nice room in Comfort Suites in Merrimack - yes you needed a 'mack'...

On the trip a 'loo' was needed.... didnt realise the loo would be wonky and smelly!!! Look at his face!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Decided to go via Boston... BUT it was horrendous - ended up going under it....

Between underground tunnels!!!

Stayed in Rhode Island - a very affluent and pretty area..... went around the Mansion District... blimey huge mansions..... this was a tiny one - the others were behind trees and gates...

It was a FREEZING day and the surfers were out...

Onwards to New York, ended up going around and around the toll roads, when you get lost it costs a fortune!!! Thats the downside of not updating your Tom Tom - I hate John Cleese at the moment - especially when he says "cough up congestion charge - medical joke" YES he really says that and we think he was playing jokes on us sending us up and down the toll roads..... we spent an hour doing 6 miles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway we arrive Quality Inn where we resided last time in NY and went straight to Harolds Deli
