Veterans Parade on Fifth Ave

This lady policeman is a Sergeant - she was controlling the traffic - it was hilarious, she was shouting through her megaphone to the other police officers things like - "Round em up, get em off that sidewalk" - "Push em backwards" "Get em off the sidewalk I want to pull the traffic" "Get back you people" "Stop walking NOW"

To the crowds "GET OFF MY INTERSECTION!!" everyone was terrified of her....

Had a lot of fun with the police (not her!!)

These two were such fun - looks like they are arguing but they are having a good laugh together about the 'witch queen' who was directing traffic... they were all glad she wasn't in their station!!!

This cheeky one was 'slagging' her off and said he would deny everything even if it was on camera!

This lovely lovely policeman gave us a hug when we left the parade, and gave me a kiss!!! He was such fun and made the day even more special...

The most delicious carrot cheesecake - it is one portion and we have been eating it for 4 days ......

We decided to 'just' have a burger to share between us on the last night - oh oh it was massive two 8oz patties loads of hot pastrami and 4 halves of bun..... phew could only manage one half of bun each but ate all the meat ......
