Post 9/11

Spent time at 'Ground Zero" we went there in 2006 to pay our respects..

Four years later and we saw a lot of progress, they are planting trees and putting in waterfalls where the two towers were...

We visited the memorial site which was pretty tough, seeing the tributes to the victims of the terrorist attack.... we all saw it on the news, but seeing the people and their 'stories' was very poignant .....

We watched the workers rebuilding..

This is the long shot of the two men tightening bolts on girders!!

This globe stood in the centre of the Twin Towers and survived the blast... it is now in Battery Park with an everlasting flame burning in remembrance.......
