Flat Tyre - Holmes County, Ohio - Amish

On our way to Holmes County we had a flat tyre - man in tyre shop said we had a 'nail' when he pulled it out it was a piece of lead, about one and a half inches long and three quarters of an inch wide!!! Tyre couldn't be saved......

Arrived Holmes County

Mainly pics from behind, didn't want to offend!!

German Village store car/buggy park!!

Went shopping in the Amish 'dry goods' store food was very cheap! Sold in clear plastic - cornflakes, flour, sugar, oatmeal
etc etc, I was fascinated to see what they were buying - Jello, hideous coloured cakes, processed foods, JUNK food!! But they speaking their own language Mennonite - Geman/Dutch

We were a bit shocked to see them driving CARS using leaf blowers and driving tractors!!

These two ladies gave us directions ......

We had a nice walk around in the town of Berlin, and had lunch in an Amish restaurant, tried the local dish of pasta and mince very filling.....
