Buffalo State Park, Yellowstone and Grand Tetons

Be prepared for picture overload!!

We left Motel room at 9am in Cody Wyoming and arrived 9pm Idaho Falls...

Driving through Buffalo Park the water was calm and blue and soooo beautiful - extrodinary place

Had a fantastic day but tooo much fun!! Stayed in Yellowstone longer than we planned - but what do you do when the bison come down from the hills and 'pose' in front of Old Faithful geyser!!!

We saw a bald eagle, and watched him
fly faster than we were driving !! But the pics we took were not blog worthy :(

Also saw two bears, a mother with her cub, by the time we got over the shock of seeing them and shooting a video, we only got pics of them disappearing into the woods - magical though, video to follow ....

Lots of snow in Yellowstone in the high passes. Again videos to follow ..

Bill has done detailed info for Yellowstone...

The sulphur pools stink!! Obviously of sulphur.. ie rotten eggs. But the colours were amazing, blue, pink and yellow, the geysers were exploding, pushing boiling water and steam into the air - bit scary when the wind changed direction!!!

Lovely waterfalls ...

Onward to Grand Tetons - huge mountain range - keep trying to cut down the amount of pictures, but the scenery was stunning...

Spot the pics of 'silly Billy'.....

Stopped for lunch at Nez Pez ford, everywhere in Yellowstone is gorgeous...

We were soooo tired by the time we got to Idaho Falls - got a KFC and fell into bed Zzzzzzzzzzzzz
